Matt and Madison met through a dating app and it didn't take long for Matt to ask her on a date. Literally, after the first few exchanges of messages Matt didn't hesitate to ask Madison to take her to one of her favorite spots (R.I.P. Bar Mercado). We hit it off on our first date and knew we wanted to go out again. For just their second time seeing each other, Matt boldly invited himself to meet some of Maddie’s inner circle. He wasn’t about to watch the Braves World Series Championship game from home. Was I (Maddie) nervous as can be with this complete stranger I had spent maybe 2 hours with now coming to meet 10 of my closest friends all at once? Absolutely. Turns out, being at the winning World Series game was a pretty big win for the Braves and for us.

It was cold. Matt had a ring. Madison didn't say "yes" at first. For the first 2 minutes, the only words out of Madison’s mouth were, "Wait…wait, what?". Fair to say Matt caught her by surprise in a scheme he had going for months. Eventually came a "yes" and a happy dance around the Botanical Gardens with a face more lit up than the Christmas lights.
