What will the weather be like?
Answer
December in Joshua Tree can be chilly, with daytime temperatures averaging around 60°F (15°C) and nights dropping to 40°F (4°C) or lower. Layers are recommended for comfort, especially if the event continues into the evening.

What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code is elevated all black attire. Our celebration will take place outdoors in the beautiful desert landscape. Keep in mind that the weather will be cooler, so consider bringing a jacket or shawl. Please wear shoes that are comfortable for walking on sand, gravel, and uneven terrain. Heels may sink, so we recommend flats, wedges, boots, or other sturdy options.

Is the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The entire event will be outdoors. We will have heaters and cozy areas to keep everyone comfortable!

How do I get to Twentynine Palms?
Answer
Nxwhere is located Twentynine Palms the city just east of Joshua Tree. This is about 2 hours from Los Angeles and 1 hour from Palm Springs by car. The nearest airport is Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). If you're driving, we recommend checking GPS directions for the most accurate route.

Are there accommodations nearby?
Answer
Yes! There are plenty of options in Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, and Twentynine Palms, ranging from charming Airbnb rentals to boutique hotels. We recommend booking early as December can be a busy time. We will have an established room block at Reset Hotel which is a brand new hotel that the majority of our guests will be staying at.

What is transportation like?
Answer
Shuttle services are provided to and from the wedding on December 6th. You will be assigned a pick up location for this day. For welcome drinks and your own exploring you have a few choices. Your own car or rental car is always an option. Ubers do run in the area, however wait times can be longer so make sure to plan accordingly. If you would like to book private transportation, please contact the groom.

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options?

Yes! We will have an eclectic mix of amazing food with a range of foods to meet various dietary needs. To help us prepare, if you have specific dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance when you RSVP.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
While we love children, this will be an adults only occasion. In the event that you are traveling with children, please make your own childcare arrangements for the wedding day. You can also contact Destination Sitters at least three months in advance to make personal arrangements for childcare at your hotel or AirBnB.
