You can sometimes meet a special person in a seemingly "unspecial" way and life can surprise you. Like we did by online dating.

"You've known each other three months and you guys are going to Costa Rica together!?" The question everyone asked, but somehow we knew it was the perfect thing to do! Something that could have been awkward and stressful was smooth, perfect, and just what we needed to start our adventurous life together! Our first "I love you" exchange was shortly after!

A test of our love, devotion, and relationship. As many people said "Distance makes the heart grow fonder". While it was not an easy time, especially for me, we were able to have so many adventures and trips to make the time pass until we were able to be in the same place together. The time apart was well worth it for our future together!

We were both able to obtain great jobs to continue our careers in Colorado. And the best part, long distance was over! Since moving to Colorado we have had endless hiking, skiing, and mountain adventures! In October 2021 we also bought out first house together! And now we are able to get married in a place we both love!

We had made plans to hike Ypsilon Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park with some friends. Little did I know, Devin had some other plans in mind. With our friends in on the plan, when we arrived to Ypsilon Lake, we were the only ones there and Devin proposed. It was the most beautiful hike for the most perfect day!!
