Please RSVP by Feb 28, 2022.
Yes, please see the travel page. We are staying in downtown Colorado Springs.
March is Colorado's snowiest month so it's always hard to predict what the weather will be like. It could be snowing a few feet, or it could be sunny and 60 degrees! The key is to be prepared for anything. Make sure to pack layers. It can be warm and sunny during the day but cold early morning or in the evening.
Yes, children are welcome. Please RSVP for them as well.
Texas Chic! Cowboy boots and jeans are ok if you don’t wanna dress up but you wanna be fancy like us, suits and boots are a perfect combo too! We want you to be comfortable and ready to dance so come as you please! We will still serve you food and alcohol!! Make sure to wear layers if it is cold as the ceremony will be outside.
We will have shuttles every 30 minutes starting 1.5 hours before the ceremony from downtown Colorado Springs to the venue. As well as every 30 minutes starting at 9:30 pm back to Colorado Springs. We will have an open bar and want you to enjoy yourself.
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #littlewedding2022 so we can keep track of all of your pictures! Just please not during the actually ceremony. We will have a photographer and a videographer so we don’t want a bunch of cell phones in the ceremony pics! We promise to share all the photos!!
The ceremony will start at 5:30 pm. You are welcome to arrive anytime after 4:30 pm. We will have the bar open before the ceremony, so feel free to grab a drink before sitting down.
First up, Altitude sickness is no joke and can make you feel awful for 24-48 hours. 1. Drink water. And I mean gallons of it. In fact, start hydrating the week before the wedding, especially if you’re flying in from out of state. I would recommend adding an extra Nalgene of water to your daily intake for the few days before you enter Colorado. 2. Go easy on the drinking. Alcohol hits you harder at elevation. You might be able to drink 6 beers in Texas, but alcohol will hit harder and faster in Colorado. 3. Wear sunscreen. The air is thinner in Colorado so the sun’s rays have less atmosphere to pass through before they hit your skin. 4. Bring layers to the wedding. Even in the spring, the air cools down significantly in the mountains after dark. It’s not uncommon for an 80 degree day to drop down to mid 30’s after the sun goes down.
Yes! We have rented two private shuttle busses for the day but it only runs to and from Colorado Springs to The wedding venue in Monument. There should be two trip times to the wedding and two back to the hotels. We encourage using the shuttle and not to drink and drive!! Plus why rent a car now?!
