We’re getting married!

We met in the UK when Matthew decided to travel for the Feast of Tabernacles. Despite having many obstacles; canceled plans, passport troubles, delayed flights and taxi issues, Matthew made it to Llandudno and meet Abbie. We shared our love of music together, our love of animals, laughed over the cultural and language differences. It wasn’t long before we knew we were made for each other! We spent the rest of the week practically inseparable.

We knew pretty early on we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together… a week to be exact. We picked out the ring together so Abbie knew it was coming but Matthew still managed to surprise her! He told her that he had to wake up and go into work early. He woke her up to say goodbye, then told her they didn’t need him to go in early after all. Instead he offered to take Abbie to breakfast. It was very early so Abbie fell asleep in the car, when she woke up they were at the top of Dobbins Lookout! A beautiful place that looks out over the whole city. The sun was beginning to rise and Matthew got down on one knee. Abbie said yes!
