We met during the 2017 Kentucky Derby season. I had the honor of being a part of the Kentucky Derby Festival Royal Court and Zach had just started his career as an event manager with Kentucky Derby Festival. It wasn't long before our friendly in-passing conversations became weekly dates long after the Run for the Roses passed. Now, after nearly 4 years together, we can't wait to tie the knot and start our happily ever after!

In December of 2019 we took a trip to New Orleans, Louisiana. Though Zach lived in New Orleans for nearly a year, I had never been. He was eager to take me to the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and local restaurants. The Sugar Bowl attracted many tourists and the city was booming! After going to dinner, and taking an Uber to three different locations to find the best setting, we arrived at the Alto rooftop restaurant. He proposed and the rest is history!
