Do I need to be vaccinated for COVID-19?

Answer

The venue requires all guests be vaccinated and proof of vaccination is required. If you have made decision not to get vaccinated, we ask you to kindly provide us with negative test result 24-48 hours within the event.

What is the weather like?

Answer

Average temperature in Orinda in late April to May ranges from high 50s to mid 60s Fahrenheit. It may get a bit chilly in the evening so bring a jacket!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoor, reception is covered outdoor and partial indoor.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, there will be cocktail hour, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages. There likely will be photo taking as well. Then there’s reception, dinner and some fun time afterwards!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is an outdoor parking lot just outside the venue building and it is free.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 15 min before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! Please consider East Bay traffic as well.

What should I wear to the wedding? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail. Ladies can wear cocktail dresses or dress pants, and the gentlemen can wear a two-piece suit or opt for a blazer and nice trousers instead. Tie is nice, but optional especially if it makes you uncomfortable. This is just a guideline to be helpful though, and we want you to be comfortable and enjoy the time of celebration with us.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The address is 8 Quarry House Dr, Orinda CA, but on the Apple map, the address shows as 8 Quarry Hill Dr, Orinda CA. You may take exit off of Wilder Rd from CA-24, follow Wilder Rd and turn left at Bigleaf Rd and left onto Quarry Hill Rd where you will see a club house and parking lot behind the house on the left, on Quarry House Dr.
