Question

What are you doing about the current COVID restrictions?

Answer

We are taking every step possible to follow all CDC and Kiva Club guidelines. We have reduced our guest count, planned to accommodate a socially distanced ceremony and reception, and will be providing masks and sanitizing stations. Our ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors, the reception and dinner will be indoors with an open air wall of windows we will be opening should weather permit. You are encouraged to bring your face mask for the safety of yourself and others. If you feel unwell or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home. Should there be more updates from the CDC and Kiva Club regarding COVID restrictions, we will let everyone know as quickly as we can. The entire Kiva Club staff is required to be vaccinated, and will be wearing masks as well as gloves when serving.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is a black tie affair, formal is much appreciated! Tuxes and ballgowns are welcome. Any color tux/suit is acceptable, as well as dresses for women, preferably not white or the bridal party colors. At a minimum, please note this is a private golf club and we must meet their dress code. No jeans or denim, please. Please note: the bridal party wedding colors are emerald and gold

Question

Are children allowed at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Although we would love to accommodate everyone’s families, logistically we are a bit limited. For that reason, we have opted for an adult only ceremony and reception besides our wedding party and close family. Make it a date night on us!

Question

Why are you having an unplugged ceremony? I want to take a video for my family who can’t make it!

Answer

We have requested to have an unplugged ceremony to allow all guests to be fully immersed in the moment with us! We would hate for you to be distracted by your cell phone or have a sad cell phone ringer go off! With that we ask that all cell phones are turned off and remain put away the entire ceremony— we have hired amazing photographers and videographers to do the work so you can enjoy!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

With current COVID restrictions and limitations on our guest count, we kindly ask that you follow the number of seats reserved on your RSVP card.

Question

I can’t eat beef or chicken. What’s my option?

Answer

On your RSVP card please specify your dietary restriction and we will do our best to accommodate with the kitchen! The sooner we know, the better!
