Christian and I met when we were just starting our senior year of high school. We had mutual friends over the past 3 year leading up to that point, but had somehow never met. Fast forward to homecoming week, Christian messaged me on Facebook and before long we were texting our days away! Later that week, we decided we would meet up at the homecoming dance and festival the next day to hang out. We did that and became best friends very quickly! Unbeknownst to Christian, I was already telling my best friend that I was obsessed with him and that I would marry him someday. We briefly dated in December of 2012 but with plans for after graduation not really lining up, we separated. In March of 2013, we reconnected and decided that we would try to make things work. We spent the next several months pretty much being inseparable. We spent just about all of our free time together just enjoying life and having fun. Since that time, the same has remained true! While dating we have accomplished so many things: In 2013 we both graduated high school. Christian also graduated from the Fire Academy that year! In 2016, I graduated with my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences from Chesapeake College. In 2018, I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Salisbury University. This is also the year that Christian attended the Police Academy and graduated in November. In 2019, I graduated with my Masters Degree in Social Work from Salisbury University and later that year went on to become a Licensed Master of Social Work in the State of Maryland. In 2020, we purchased our house and spent much of that year remodeling to make it feel like a home. For each of these major accomplishments, we stood by each other's side through the hard times and were there to celebrate with each other at the end!

We were married in a small ceremony on May 29, 2021 after a very short engagement. Christian and I have always wanted a small wedding, so that's exactly what we did! Prior to our engagement in April of 2021, life threw us some curveballs! The details of which are not mine to share so I will leave those out but this did bring us closer together and made us realize that we did not want to wait to get married. We quickly planned our small, intimate wedding, for May 29, 2021...and the rest is HISTORY!

We are now planning our reception, or what I like to call, the AFTER PARTY, for June 25, 2022 to celebrate with all of our friends and family! Please visit the RSVP page to let us know if you can make it and to request a song! This is a party for us to CELEBRATE our marriage with each of you. We will not be renewing our vows at this time but there will be plenty of food, dancing, and good company!
