Our story!

Pop the champagne he’s changing my last name!

David and I met in church when I was still in a car seat and diapers. Yes! We have known each other for a while! We grew up going to school together until his family moved back to Brownsville, Tx for a couple of years. Then, when they moved back we were old enough by then to grow a friendship. Our families would always tease us about liking each other and telling us we would eventually be together! Never did we think it would actually happen. Funny story! David actually asked me on a “date” in eight grade to the movies. Long story short he held my hand and I didn’t return the favor... he left in the middle of the movie! But we still remained close friends. Fast forward to junior year of high school... We had hung out a few times. Until he started doing cute things as in texting me at night asking if I needed anything or if I was hungry. He would always bring me two corn dogs and a lemon tea monster. I know, we were just kids it wasn’t that big of a deal... but hey! It was super sweet! One night he eventually texted me asking who I liked. I didn’t answer and I returned the question! He answered and well... it was me. October 6, 2012 our junior year of high school we officially started dating. These past couple of years have been the best of my life. Fast forward again to exactly 5 years later October 6, 2017. David surprised me with our first huge trip to Cancun, Mexico where we would have the best time of our lives. Not knowing that this trip David would FINALLY pop the question! I said yes! and well... that is what got us here! Present day, we are still in love and as strong as ever. He is my everything and I cannot wait to marry the man of my dreams! I hope to have every single one of you present on our LONG awaited special day of our lives and continue to watch our story become even bigger and better! We love you and thank everyone of you who have supported us in every step of our relationship together!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

9 Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. 11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
