I got invited to go see fireworks with a friend from work. Little did I know, I was being set up with Logan. The fireworks were a bust because it was too cloudy, so we all went again the next night. A couple of weeks after that, we all went to Country Thunder together and spent the whole weekend camping. Logan and I have talked every single day since!
Since I was still in school at Texas Christian University and Logan was at University of Wisconsin- Platteville, we didn't start dating right away. I was not interested in getting into a long distance relationship, but 968 miles couldn't keep us apart! That was a really long fall semester that consisted of many Skype dates! When I came back to Wisconsin for winter break, Logan asked if he could "introduce me as his girlfriend to his family." :)
On New Year's Eve, Logan and I were on a cruise with his family and family friends. We were all dressed up for New Year's festivities, and we had some pictures made before dinner. During one of our photos, Logan got down on one knee, expressed that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, and pulled out the most beautiful ring. Of course, I said yes through the tears! We are so excited to share this next chapter of our lives with you!
