Independent Baptist Church
We would like to invite all our our family and friends to join us at our church for the Sunday and Wednesday services before and after our wedding. Whether you live in the area or are coming from out of town, we would love to invite you to the services to worship God and fellowship. You can find the service times on the church website or please get in touch with us if you need help finding the service times. Thank you for making our wedding week so special with your presence!
Fox Bowl
We highly recommend coming here if you're looking for a fun way to get together with friends and family and kill some time. Steve has been in bowling leagues for the past 8 years and this is one of his favorite bowling alleys. Let us know if you want to get a group together and we'll see what we can work out!
Naperville Riverwalk
The downtown Naperville Riverwalk became a lifetime memory for us on September 1st, 2023. Steve managed to completely surprise me with a beautiful spot for our engagement. A beautiful downtown area with some great restaurants (we recommend Empire for delicious appetizers and burgers) and a central, free parking garage.
Lincoln Park Zoo
What's special for us about the Lincoln Park Zoo is that our relationship first became official on December 17th 2022 coming home from seeing the zoos Christmas lights display. We walked around in the cold Chicago weather holding hands and snuggling up on the Ferris Wheel. The zoo is free admission and the perfect size to spend an afternoon walking around.
Chicago
Both of us love Chicago sports! Unfortunately, hockey, basketball, and football season won't be going on, but we would recommend either a Sox or Cubs game. Seeing a game from every Chicago team in Chicago in a year is on our Couple's List.
Papa's Pizza Place
We recommend Papa's Pizza Place if you would like some good old fashioned Chicago style thin pizza. Steve has loved this pizza as far back as he can remember.
Fork & Spoon Cafe
The Fork and Spoon is our favorite go-to place for brunch.
The Morton Arboretum
We also recommend the Mortem Arboretum as another beautiful location to spend a morning or afternoon.
Whalon Lake
A beautiful lake with a large covered pavilion, kayak rentals, fun walking path around the lake, and lots of fishing opportunities. Steve and I love taking our kayaks out to enjoy the calm water.
