Travel Note
1. Flying straight to the venue? We highly recommend flying into one of the close by airports, Newcastle or Leeds. Both are about hour drive to the venue. The closest train stop is Darlington. Newcastle Airport: If you choose to not drive or get a taxi, there's a train from Newcastle to Darlington, and then a 10min taxi to the venue. Leeds Airport: we recommend renting a car or taking a taxi, there is no train option. 2. Stopping in London? If you fly into London you can take the train from central London - Kings Cross about 2hrs 45mins to Darlington and then a 10min taxi to the venue. We highly recommend booking train tickets early, you can book 6 weeks in advance. Note: It's about an 1 hr train to central London from the airport. This is why we recommend connecting if you're not stopping to enjoy London for a few days. 3. Manchester Airport is an option but is the furthest away (~2.5hr drive / train ride). There's a lot of direct flights through this airport so could be an option but requires getting on the train from the airport to Darlington. 4. Want to explore Scotland? Edinburgh Airport: another option especially if you wanted to enjoy Scotland prior. This is about a 2hr 10min train to Darlington and 10min taxi.

As much as we wish we could accommodate everyone on the estate, there are a limited number of rooms available where the Friday and Saturday events will take place. These rooms have been reserved for immediate family, the bridal party, and a few close friends. We kindly ask that you RSVP by March 31st to help us finalize arrangements. For those staying off-site, we’ve put together a list of nearby accommodations to ensure your stay is as comfortable and convenient as possible. We recommend the Holiday Inn as a convenient option. It’s the closest hotel to our wedding venue, just a 5-minute drive away, and also one of the most affordable choices in the area.

Another nearby option is Rockliffe Hall. This is a luxurious 5-star hotel located just a 15-minute drive from our wedding venue. It offers a beautiful stay with exceptional amenities to make your weekend extra special.
House Or Rental
If you’re considering booking an Airbnb, there are some fantastic houses available nearby! However, we recommend booking as soon as possible, as accommodations in the area tend to fill up quickly.
