We're getting married

In the cold, dark world of online dating we somehow managed to mutually "like" each other on Coffee Meets Bagel. Think Starbucks, but virtual with lots of failed attempts. Yolanda saw the mutual connection notification and slid into Taurean's DMs like a boss. *Insert eye roll from Taurean* With us both being from Willingboro, easy-going, and having a love for travel and music...it all became effortless, and now soon to be forever ♥︎

Yolanda's Version: Traveling is truly our love language, so we planned a couples trip to Turks & Caicos during July 2022. The villa we stayed in was immaculate! It hosted three walkout balconies which overlooked the bay, a pool, and a fire pit. The stillness and turquoise blue of the water was majestic. Oh and did I mention the private chef? Chilee the chef was chef'in! On July 27, 2022, the third day of our stay, we arranged for the chef to make us a memorable dinner on the pool patio. The sun was setting. The table decor was beautiful with a fresh bouquet of red roses centered. Everything was perfect. After stuffing our faces and getting into a casual debate about submission and toxic masculinity/femininity ( thanks to Lommie's couples card game).... ...Taurean grabs a rose and asks me to stand. Of course I did not stand because I'm in literal shock and trying not to cuss. But cameras are out, everyone is excited, and the show must go on. So anyways, Taurean proceeds to get on one knee and professes his undying love, essentially how much he been feeling the kid. He peels back a single rose petal, reveals the ring, and asks me to marry him! The ring was on the table hidden in a rose THEE WHOLE TIME! I think I'm still in shock writing this. Well needless to say, ya girl said yes and I'd do it all over again. 🥰 Taurean's Version: We flew to Turks & Caicos. Stayed in a villa. Had a good time. After we ate, I proposed, she said yes...The End!
