**UPDATE 8/6** As of now, we have reservations for Happy Camper Denver at 715. It will be outdoor seating and we food/drinks to celebrate Clark and I getting MARRIED! YAY!! It is a 21 and over venue tho. The address is: 3211 N Pecos St, Denver, CO 80211
Yo and I knew a big wedding was never in our cards. Not only that but her family lives on oneside of the country and mine, the other. An elopement just felt right for us. We can get married without the stress of trying to coordinate so many flights through an on going pandemic but then also get to celebrate with our loved ones at a later time.
Of course! We don't want anyone to feel obligated or any pressure-especially with it being on a Monday, but if you are around, you are welcome to come partake. As of now, the Honorable Judge Barajas will be marrying us at the Richards-Hart Estate Park at 6pm under the arch (not the building). Street parking is available.
We are still deciding where we want to go. As of now, with Covid numbers on the rise along with travel cancelations and expensive airfare, we are holding off on any summer honey moon travel.
We have a honey moon fund and a small registry currently set up. Again, we don't want anyone to feel any obligations or pressure, but we have had a few people reach out to say they would like one set up, so we have done so. We are just honored to be in your thoughts and well wishes for our special day.
Well, why not? But also, the number 8 is considered a lucky number around the world. That sure is a fun fact for our day!
We really don't want to offend anyone by choosing to have this small ceremony. We really have so many friends and family around the globe, that while we want to have the biggest wedding in the world-the reality is, we can't. If you can make it to the Ceremony at the park, please do; if you can make the Zoom call, please do; if you can't make it at all and want a Zoom Wine date at another time, YES!; If you can't do any of these, then just think of us at some point on that day and make a wish for us. We love all of our friends & family dearly and understand/respect that coordinating these many schedules can be VERY hard!!
SI! There is a Colombian Tradition called the Serenata in which, you guessed it, the Bride is serenaded by a band. As of now, Mariachi International of Denver will be accompanying us for the ceremony. Please note, they will be taking song requests but do not have any Bad Bunny or Carlos Vives songs on their list.
Up to you! The ceremony is outdoors as is the after party but we are a science loving couple and respect if you want to wear your mask or need to practice social distancing. Bring your own mask if you need!
Yes. Yo's family visited from Colombia (first time in 9 years), so we flew to Miami to kick start our celebration of Love! It was party number 1 and fell on 4th of July and even though it was a million degrees it was so special. We danced and pool partied the night away.
5349 West 27th Avenue, Wheat Ridge. The ceremony will not be taking place in the building but under the arch in the park. Street Parking will be available. We are hoping for some good weather! Pets and Children are invited too :)
Its not you, it was an error on our end! When we wrote the announcements, we didn't realize that they had to line up w the RSVP page. Please contact Clark or Yolanda so we can make sure to add you OR you can click the 'contact the couple' hyperlink and we will get it sorted!
