We met in Alaska during the winter of 2011. Chris had previously worked at Winterlake lodge, a remote fly out destination lodge, and was heading back to try his hand at fishing on a salmon boat that following summer. I was working in Girdwood as the saucier chef at Jack Sprat Restaurant. Needing a job to get through the winter, Chris started on as a line cook. We became quick friends, and remained as much for 3 years. Our work environment was much like a family. Before long Chris had the opportunity to become the Executive Chef and not long after I was promoted to Sous Chef. Long story short we fell for one another and decided to run off to Rhode Island together to help our dear friend Kara start her first restaurant. Thats when our daughter Izzy decided to surprise us with a little shift in the game plan. We had her in October of 2014 just before the Giants won the World Series. 3 years later we gave birth to our son Robert. Now that we are all here we are ready to Celebrate! We can't wait to see all of you at our wedding.
