Are Kids Invited?

Answer

Yes -- Although kids are invited, please note that our wedding will take place at an outdoor venue that will require children supervision, especially around the pond & wooded trails on site. If you are comfortable supervising your children for the entirety of the night, you are welcome to bring them. Please make note of how many children you'll be bringing when you RSVP.

How far away is the venue in relation to my overnight accomodations?

Answer

We have based our out-of-town guests primarily in Findlay & Grand Rapids, OH. Findlay is approximately 15-20 minutes from the venue, & Grand Rapids is a 40 minute drive. If you are interested in booking a Yurt on the venue property, that is also an option (see accomodations). Please plan accordingly.

Is there a shuttle from my car to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes -- a golf cart shuttle is available for those who would like assistance from the parking lot to the outdoor ceremony.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable, as this is an outdoor venue! So find the balance between formal and casual, elegant and comfortable & you've got it down. Our venue has some great walking trails that we invite you to take advantage of during the reception -- so don't forget to bring a pair of comfy walking shoes. It's also a good idea to check the weather before arriving, so that you can bring a light jacket in case.
