Megan had to transfer from her job in Las Vegas to Federal Way because the company was eliminating her position there and centralizing all operations in Washington. She arrived in Washington on December 26, 2016. Andrew returned to his hometown of Federal Way after living in Portland for four years. His sister, Erica, got him an interview at a new job. When they arrived at their new office, they were placed in cubicles right across from each other. Andrew was always nice to Megan and she believed that he was nice to everybody. One day while having lunch, Megan invited Andrew to sit and chat with her. They exchanged small talk, then before Andrew left he asked Megan a question: "Can I be your best friend?" After some time, co-worker Kari Lewis pointed out an obvious truth to Megan. She let Megan know that Andrew was especially "nice" because he was romantically interested in her. In that moment, Kari played match maker told Megan that she felt Andrew would be good for her, and encouraged her to give him a chance. From that day on they were inseparable, and the rest was history.

Andrew and Megan closed on their first home together on Valentine's Day of 2019. The previous owners had stopped caring for the home, and it needed a lot of love. With the help of several friends, they put in a ton of hard work and made the house special again. To celebrate their friends and all that they had accomplished together, Megan and Andrew threw a housewarming party on August 24. They invited their families and all of their friends. Once the party was in full swing, Andrew gathered everyone into the great room to give a speech. He thanked everyone for their support and for helping to put the love back into their home.
