What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please respectfully reserve any shades of white for the bride. It is recommended to wear Spring time cocktail/semi formal attire that is also appropriate for church. I suggest tea-length, midi dress, or maxi length dress that are spring time colors like pastels or floral print for women. For men I recommend dress pants, button down shirts, & a tie (jacket is optional). You can always reach out for suggestions.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No, the ceremony will be held at Dawson Street Baptist Church & the reception will follow at The Business Exchange. They are within a 4 minute drive from each other or a 15 minute walk.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It will be spring time in South Georgia, so you can expect low 80s high 70s cool weather.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony & reception will be located indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party & immediate family members will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception venue where we will be serving appetizers and beverages.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Where is Thomasville, GA located?

Answer

Thomasville is just North of Tallahassee. Approximately 30 mins north from I-10 Tallahassee Exit 203.

Will there be dinner or heavy Hors D'oeuvres?

Answer

Great question! We want to make sure that our loved ones leave the night with their bellies and their hearts full. We have a cocktail hour directly after the ceremony at the reception venue followed by dinner later in the evening.
