1 Corinthians 13:13

We met when we were both not looking for anyone and finding a well-rounded partner was becoming difficult for us both. We were both contemplating a single life ahead, and beginning to be ok with that :-( Then, DIVINE INTERVENTION interceded in our lives. It was like God said, enough! It's time for you two to look to my guidance more, because obviously you don't know what you're doing without me in that area of your life :-) Amen, and amen. And we both did just that! With God's clarity, we noticed that our lives were parallel in more ways than we would understand for the moment: Twin Flames... We have three adult children each, born in the same order (daughter, daughter and son). Our sons share the same birthday (month and day). We both love to travel, live healthier, discuss real life issues/resolves (other than gossip LOL), and help others in need. Initially, these similarities, and MANY more overwhelmed us, then we realized it was God whispering to us. So instead of running away, we leaned on God's direction even more, submitting to his WILL, and NOW here we are! 1 Corinthians 13:13: And now these three remain: faith, hope and love... But the greatest of these is love.

ZO reflections on YO I would never in my wildest dreams imagined that a woman casually preparing my Easter dinner plate would become the love of my life. YO is beautiful, smart, intelligent, caring and the best thing that ever happened to me. YO reflections on ZO I've never been in a relationship with a man who knew what he wanted, and acted on it immediately. Zo is an expressive man who does not hide his feelings about loving me with all my faults and quirks. And he makes me comfortable in doing the same. He is my lifelong desire for a "True Partner," my "Rock." I don't have to say anything when I'm overwhelmed because he sees it and acts on it in support of me/us. Our connection was unintended and unplanned, BUT GOD had something to say. I'm thankful God brought him into my life.

This relationship grew over the miles, long distance. Family and friends are located all over the globe... To celebrate this union centrally near family and friends, two locations were chosen: On Saturday, July 2, 2022, Yolanda and Lorenzo's marriage ceremony was held at the Santee Conference Center, Santee, SC located near their hometown(s) amongst family and friends, and both of their mother's resting place. On Sunday, October 2, 2022, Yolanda and Lorenzo will acknowledge their marriage, and celebrate with a formal brunch at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge in Upper Marlboro, MD with family and friends.
