Love at first sight is so normal, this story is as unique as they are. Their first "real" date was at 2am after they both had got off of work and Sam made Canaan a 3 course meal, almost. While attempting to make dessert Sam managed to cut her thumb pretty bad. So after she duct taped a wash cloth to her thumb Canaan drove her to the hospital where they end up having to stay in grant hospital in columbus for emergency surgery for 3 days! As many of you know Sam hates hospitals, so in order to calm her nerves Canaan sneaks her out of her room and tried to steal a ceiling tile with a pretty painting for Sam and got caught by a nurse! They have never laughed so hard in their life, they knew at that moment bent over holding their stomach, tears in their eyes, and not able to breathe, they were meant for each other!
