How is the weather in August?

Answer

It’s is still really warm during this time. The lake will be warm enough for our guests to swim in if they want to hop in. For our gentlemen’s I recommend not wearing long sleeves button ups because of the warmth.

Parking?

Answer

We will be renting the clubhouse parking lot. It is literally 1 min away from the lake house. Once you’ve parked, we will have pick ups scheduled to bring our guest to the lake house.

Do we need to rent cars?

Answer

Yes! For those of you who are flying out for this special day, we do suggest you rent a vehicle or you can Uber.

What if I have a special diet?

Answer

It is very important for all of our guests that have a special diet and/or allergy, to let us know. We want to make sure everyone eats and have happy belly’s!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This was a very hard decision to make, but due to the number of guests we are trying to keep, we did decide on not having kids at the wedding. The only kids that we are making an exception for, are the ones traveling with their families.

What if I’m a smoker?

Answer

You are more than welcome to smoke, but it will have to be away from the reception. It is important to respect those that don’t like the smell of cigarettes.

Is it indoor or outdoor wedding?

Answer

Outdoor! I’ve always wanted an outdoor wedding. And what’s better than a lake wedding?!

Where am I flying to?

Answer

When booking your flight, you will be flying into Indianapolis, IN international airport.

How long should we visit for?

Answer

I am personally taking a few days off from work. August 16- August 20. I would love to spend time with my friends and family while they are all here!
