What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving between 5:30–6:00 PM. Guests staying overnight at Tarrytown House Estate may check in starting at 4:00 PM and are welcome to get ready in their rooms. Guests who arrive earlier may relax in the public lounge areas and lawn seating in front of Goosefeather, the on-site restaurant at Tarrytown House Estate. The Goosefeather bar will be open starting at 5:00 PM for guests who wish to enjoy a drink before the ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We invite guests to dress in cocktail attire—elegant, festive, and polished. Cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits are wonderful options. For men, we recommend suits (ties optional). We kindly suggest avoiding all-white and bright red attire. These two colors are traditionally reserved for the bride in Chinese culture. All other colors are warmly welcome. Most importantly, we hope you choose something that feels celebratory, comfortable, and true to your personal style—we can’t wait to see you!

How do I book a room at Tarrytown House Estate?

The Callaway family has pre-purchased a limited number of rooms for the night of May 29 at nearby hotels: Tarrytown House Estate Hotel ($198, 5 rooms) Courtyard by Marriott Tarrytown ($210, 3 rooms) If you’d like to reserve one of these rooms, please indicate this in your RSVP and reimburse the Callaway family via Zelle or cash on the day of the wedding. Otherwise, you’re welcome to book directly through the hotels or via sites like Booking.com or Priceline. Please see Accommodations page for details.

I have a diet restriction, can I make a special request?

Orders will be taken the night of the wedding, so no need to make special requests beforehand.
