One day, I received a WeChat message from a stranger who casually said “hi” and started chatting with me. Later, I found out he had obtained my contact information from our mutual friend. Yes, he had “betrayed” me, but luckily, it wasn’t a scam. Our first date was anything but typical. Instead of a movie or a nice restaurant, Tianlong invited me to go fishing at a mosquito-filled park. Surprisingly, that fishing trip became the beginning of my love for fishing. From then on, we started spending more time together, talking, laughing, and slowly becoming an important part of each other’s lives... 2019 年夏天，我突然收到一条陌生人的微信消息。对方很随意地发了句“hi”，就这样开始跟我聊天。后来才知道，他是从我们的一位共同朋友那里要到了我的联系方式。没错，那位朋友把我“出卖”了，不过好在，这不是一场诈骗。 我们的第一次约会也挺特别的。没有看电影，也没有去餐厅，他约我去一个全是蚊子的公园钓鱼。没想到，那次钓鱼也让我成为了一名钓鱼佬。 之后，我们越走越近，一起聊天、一起笑，在不知不觉中，彼此成了对方生活中很重要的人。

Over the past few years, we have grown side by side through constant change. We have supported each other’s dreams, studies, and careers, and learned how to be a team in real life. We traveled whenever we could, explored new cities, and shared countless road trips. Together, we moved six times across four provinces and drove across North America from east to west, packing our lives into cars, and rebuilding “home” again and again. Each move came with uncertainty, pressure, and new challenges. Of course, we argued, misunderstood each other, and learned the hard way how to communicate. But we also learned how to apologize, forgive, and grow. Through all the changes, what never changed was our choice to stay, to support one another, and to grow together as partners. 这几年里，我们一边生活，一边成长。经历了很多变化，也始终陪在彼此身边。我们互相支持对方的梦想、学业和事业，慢慢学会了在现实生活中如何成为真正的“队友”。 只要有时间，我们就一起旅行，去不同的城市，留下了无数次公路旅行的回忆。我们一起搬了六次家，跨越了四个省，从北美东岸一路开到西岸，把生活装进车里，又一次次重新建立属于我们的“家”。 每一次搬家都伴随着不确定、压力和新的挑战。当然，我们也会吵架、误会彼此，也是在一次次磕磕绊绊中，学会了怎么好好沟通。但同时，我们也学会了道歉、原谅，以及一起成长。 在所有变化之中，唯一不变的，是我们始终选择留下，选择彼此，选择携手前行，作为人生路上的伙伴。

Throughout our lives, and in every place we have called home, we have been incredibly lucky to meet so many like-minded and wonderful friends.
