What should I wear?

Answer

Wear something that makes you feel great! We aren't picky, as long as you bring your dancing shoes. Wear a cocktail dress, dressy jumpsuit or your finest mountain side dress robes.

What will the weather be like in Government Camp?

Answer

In late June, Oregon typically has beautiful blue sky's, fresh air, and starry nights. We imagine it will be around 75 degrees, (plus or minus) during the day and cool off at night. Bring your SPF for your adventures, the sun is hot here even at 11,250ft elevation. Throw a light jacket in your travel bags so we can keep the fun going during the evenings. Where should I book a room?

Answer

Absolutely do your best to reserve a room at Timberline lodge: https://timberlinelodge.com/lodge Use the code: STANDGR The lodge has limited availability but is our preferred place for you to stay. We'd like you to be close to the festivities and us all weekend. Please, book your rooms now! There are a few boutique motels within a 20mi radius but plenty of vacation rental options. Search near Government Camp or Mt Hood Village. About 35 minutes West is the cute town of Sandy which has the small town charm and all the amenities you may need. Again, the closer the better. Book your room at the Timberline Lodge.

Do you know a babysitter?

Thank you for understanding our decision to invite adults only to our wedding reception. We will be providing childcare at Timberline Lodge from 5:45pm-12am the night of our wedding. Please let us know if we can expect your little one during this time, (wildferngrp@gmail.com).

Where can I eat?

Answer

There are three restaurants at Timberline Lodge Cascade Dinning Room (reservations recommended)       Breakfast Buffet 8:00am - 11:00am       Lunch Fridays through Sundays 12:00pm - 3:00pm       Lunch Mondays through Thursdays 12:00pm - 2:00pm       Dinner 5:30pm - 8:30pm The Ram's Head Bar and Restaurant open daily 11:00am-11:00pm And Blue Ox Bar -supposed to open mid June, not sure what their hours will be. At the ski lodge, Y-bar 11am-4pm and Wy-East Bar 8Am-4pm. Both are open daily when ski lifts are running

Are Ubers or Lyfts available?

Answer

No. There may be a driver or two in the Sandy area but they will not drive East up the mountain. This is another reason we urge you to stay at the Lodge with us. We will provide a ride from The Best Western/Timberline Condos to Timberline Lodge before the ceremony (5:30pm) and after the reception (12am). Please email wildferngrp@gmail.com for more details.
