We met at a memorial day cookout in 2019. That day I did not notice him but he noticed me and said "hello" but unfortunately we did not get the chance to speak that day. Fast forward to about a month later, we met again at another event and my best friend knew him and said his name. We introduced ourselves and had a little conversation. On July 3rd, only a few days later we met again at another event. We spoke that day and Sunday made sure he got my instagram. Since that day we have been attached at the hip. On July 27th, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend and the rest was history!

On April 16th he planned a photoshoot for us so we bought outfits the weekend before. We drove to Maryland that weekend for work and we were coming back to New Jersey Sunday morning (the proposal day). I let him handle all the planning of the photoshoot because it was his idea. When we were about to drive back to NJ he then made it seem like something went wrong and we had to cancel the photoshoot, I became annoyed because we went through all this trouble to get nice outfits the week before( I also felt like if I handled it nothing would've went wrong). He later said he got a studio and everything is fine now. When we got home we were getting ready and he was a bit nervous( at the time I didn't know it was him being nervous I just thought he was hungry and tired), but I thought it was because he didn't eat real food all day so I made him something to eat. We were on our way to the venue and as we entered the first door I see a beautiful set up of food and drinks then he opened the second door and it was a room filled with all our loved ones and the beautiful decor. I was stuck, I didn't know how to react but tears quickly filled my eyes as I became overwhelmed with emotions. When he finally got on one knee and said " Yetunde Ajiboye will you marry me?" I said "YES"... YES NOW AND YES FOREVER! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
