"I Love You One Step Ahead"

Heather and Daniel met during the summer of 2014 at a mutual friend's house. Short of a few words exchanged during group conversations, they did not get to know each other very well the first time they met. It actually took several times being at the right place and at the right time for them to start getting to know each other. Eventually Daniel worked up the courage to ask Heather out for the first date; a dinner where they could get to know each other better. It did not take long before they found themselves going out more frequently. Heather and Daniel started dating August 4th, 2014. Heather and Daniel have spent many wonderful years together as boyfriend and girlfriend. Over the past 5 years, they have traveled to various states and islands together. Each island they traveled to, they found themselves out on a boat for the day snorkeling and enjoying each other's company. As Daniel continued his education in the aviation field he knew that he was ready to do what he had hoped to do for years- propose to Heather. On December 26th, 2018, Daniel and Heather took a flight to several local airports, including the first airport they ever flew to together. After spending some time in the air, they returned back to the airport where Daniel planned to ask Heather to marry him. After stepping out of the airplane, they talked for a few minutes, reminiscing on the years they spent together. Daniel had both his parents and Heather's parents waiting nearby, hidden away with cameras in order to capture the moment Daniel proposed. Not all went as planned, as they were talking, Heather heard a camera shutter and looked away, and as she turned around, Daniel had the ring out and was down on one knee, asking for her hand in marriage.
