ChatGPT gives a wonderful description: Dress Code: Garden Party Chic 🌸☀️ Think elegant, breezy, and outdoor-friendly! We’d love to see our guests in floral dresses, flowy skirts, light-colored suits, and crisp polos. Embrace soft pastels, light fabrics, and a touch of whimsy—because we’re celebrating in style! 👒 Hats & Headwear: If you’d like to top off your look, go for a stylish sun hat, fascinator, or a dapper fedora. Just make sure it’s classy, not oversized (we want you to see the ceremony, after all!). 👞 Shoes: Keep it grass-friendly—think wedges, dressy flats, loafers, or polished sneakers. Stilettos might sink, and we don’t want you getting stuck! Let’s keep it fun, fresh, and fabulous—we can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🎉✨ ** Feel free to use this dress code as an outline, but ultimately, we want you to be comfortable!!**
The ceremony will take place outdoors under the beautiful oak tree and the reception will be held in the adjacent barn, all on the Sugarland property. In case of inclement weather, both will be held indoors in the barn.
All single guests are allotted a plus one, however we kindly ask that these guests be reserved for romantic partners.
While children are invited to attend, we would like to note that the ceremony will be outdoors and we are unable to make accommodations for meals during the reception for little ones. We encourage you to use our celebration to have a night off!
Check out the travel page of our wedding website!! We sincerely appreciate all of our guest who have taken the time to travel from out of town.

Yes!! Because the wedding and reception are at the same venue, this will serve as a transition and an opportunity for the bride and groom to take family pictures. You're invited to enjoy light snacks and drinks over at the barn, play a yard game or catch up with friends and family.
Food will be served buffet style. The three main dish options include a beef dish, a chicken dish, and one being a vegetarian/vegan/dairy-free/gluten-free option. Specifics will be available on menu cards at the dining tables. We are doing our best to accommodate all known allergies & dietary restrictions but please let us know if you have any concerns.
There will be a cash bar as well as coffee, tea and lemonade available. During dinner, we are providing a glass of wine and a champagne toast. And for our not yet legal friends and sober guests, don't worry, there will be sparkling grape juice! We kindly ask that all guests enjoy the night and drink responsibly.
Duhhhhhh! Bring your dancing shoes and cowboy boots. There is guaranteed line dancing, swing dancing, and maybe even a little cha-cha. We might also mosh pit. However much we can fit into one night!!
