FAQs

If you have any other questions other than those listed here, please reach out to the Bride or Groom and we will be happy to answer.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The RSVP deadline will be updated in early 2026 and listed on your invitation when it is sent out. Please be mindful of this deadline as we will not be able to accommodate those who RSVP past the deadline.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to have those closest to us at our wedding to celebrate. To keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and respecting this decision.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kiddos, however, we have decided to make our wedding an adults only affair. We hope parents use this as an opportunity for a date night. Drinks are on us!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Formal Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, so please plan for sunshine, soft grass, and garden paths. We recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy flats, and fabrics that will keep you comfortable without compromising style. Garden Party Formal means polished and elegant — think cocktail attire with a romantic, outdoor twist. For women: Midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or sets in florals, bold colors, or soft pastels. Flowy fabrics, polished silhouettes, and elevated accessories are encouraged. For men: Suits or tailored separates in lighter tones like navy, sage, gray, or subtle prints. Ties are welcome but not required — just aim for a well-dressed look that fits the festive garden vibe. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing white or ivory, as we’d like to keep that color special for the bride. 💛 We can’t wait to celebrate with you — come dressed to feel joyful, confident, and wedding-photo ready!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue is a beautifully renovated 1929 church and does not have its own parking lot, so parking will be limited to street parking nearby. We highly recommend coordinating with friends and family to carpool and designating safe driver. Please note that Fillmore is a small town with very limited rideshare options. We truly appreciate everyone making arrangements in advance so you can join us in celebrating our big day!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be starting promptly at 5pm. Please do arrive 20-30 minutes ahead of time to account for parking and seating. Our venue will not allow any late guests into the ceremony space once it has begun.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We will have a hotel block at a nearby hotel. Stay tuned for details in early 2026 as we will be adding a travel tab to our site with room block details.

Question

Is there going to be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks our on us for the night! The hangover the next day is on you. Your safety is very important to us, so please plan ahead for a safe ride home — whether that’s a designated driver or ride-share service Cheers to a wonderful night together! 🍸✨

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

Your presence truly means the world to us! We’re not asking for traditional gifts — instead, if you'd like to contribute, we’d be so grateful for a monetary gift to help us start our next chapter together. Thank you for your love and support — it’s the greatest gift of all. 💛
