Dillon and Yessica met while both working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 2019. They had constantly heard of each other through mutual friends but didn't officially meet until Dillon was moved to Yessica's branch in Sterling, Virginia. After that, they became inseparable. Dillon especially liked that Yessica did all his work. When COVID hit in 2020, Dillon and Yessica grew closer and closer and finally made it official on February 2nd, 2020. The rest is history.

On the anniversary of when they first started dating, Dillon made reservations at Parallel Wine Bar, where they had their first date. Before heading out, he surprised Yessica by decorating the entire apartment and giving her a gift to open. While Yessica was opening her gift (Future Mrs. Serley shirt), Dillon got the ring from where he was hiding it and got down on one knee. Yessica could not believe it (she first said "No" out of shock). Dillon told Yessica that he loved her and wanted to marry her. After lots of tears (from Yessica), she finally said "Yes!"
