Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:30pm sharp. We recommend you arrive no later than 15 minutes before start of the ceremony. If you are taking one of the provided shuttles from the hotel, you will be sure to arrive in sufficient time to be able to attend the ceremony.

What is the dress code?

Answer

To help make this an unforgettable occasion, we kindly request that our guests dress to impress with their best formal attire. Ladies, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing white or shades of white - we wouldn't want anyone to mistake you for the bride.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will take place outdoors next to the epic Horseshoe Falls waterfall at Terrapin Point, in Niagara State Park. The cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors at Niagara Riverside Resort, situated on the banks of the Niagara River.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Who knows? September weather in New York is usually cool and mild, but it is hard to predict ahead of time. Please come prepared for cool temperatures and floating mists from the waterfall. It also could be warm that day, so layers are recommended. Best bet is to come prepared for all weather, and dress according to the weather on the day of the ceremony.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will be provided to take guests from the hotel to the ceremony venue and back again.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

Answer

There are a number of options to get from the airport to the hotel. Car rentals are available at the airport, or you can contact your rideshare service of choice (Uber, Lyft, etc).

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

It is recommended that you park at the Niagara Riverside Resort parking lot and take one of the provided shuttles to the ceremony location. Hotel parking is available at a reduced rate of $5 a day. There is limited parking at Niagara Falls State Park and we can’t guarantee that a spot will be available there.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

If your child or children are listed on your invitation, you are welcome to bring them. Please know that they will not be allowed at the reception; there will be a separate area set up for them to enjoy. If they are not listed on the invitation, we hope you understand and use this evening as an opportunity to enjoy a romantic night out with your significant other.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

There will be a spread of fruits and vegetables with vegan dips and spreads, a taco bar, and gourmet vegan entrées and sides prepared by the Resort’s resident Chef. Beverages will be available including champagne, wine, beer, and mixed drinks.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Please let us know when you fill out your RSVP online during the Reception Event portion of the RSVP process. Alternatively, you may fill out the RSVP card if your invitation included one and mail it back to us.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be a four-hour open call brand bar hosted during the reception.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of rooms reserved at the Niagara Riverside Resort. Please email Teresa Costello, Director of Sales at tcostello@meranihotelgroup.com or call (716) 299-0344 extension 2205 to make your reservation directly with the Resort.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We have hired a professional to capture the ceremony and ask that you refrain from taking pictures while it is taking place. The officiant will announce the photo rules prior to the start of the ceremony. There will be a brief one to two minute exception to this rule before the ceremony starts where you will be permitted to take pictures and post them as you see fit; this period will also be announced by the officiant.

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

Submitting your RSVP online on our wedding website is the easiest and best way to let us know you are going to attend! Some invitations also included a paper RSVP card if you would like to fill that out and mail it back to us that’s fine too.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP by August 1st, 2023 to ensure we have an accurate count of all attending guests to provide to the venue.

What if I didn't RSVP?

Answer

To help us with our planning, we kindly ask that you RSVP by the date we've provided. If we don't receive your RSVP by the date specified, we can't make exceptions and will have to mark you as "no". We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, and we don't want to risk any hiccups in the planning process. We hope you can understand.

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

As much as we would love to accommodate everyone, we already finalized the guest list, and don't have any extra spots for plus ones. If a plus one has been extended to you, their name or “Guest” would be listed alongside yours on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you.

We do! You can find a link to it on our wedding website!

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

The way our registry is set up, you can purchase your wedding gifts directly on the registry and they will be shipped to our mailing address. If you would like to purchase something that is not on the registry, please ship it to: Yesha and Aaron Dreifort, 2205 Hilltop Drive #111, Redding, CA 96002.

When will the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end around 10:30pm.

How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?

Answer

If there are any changes to the schedule or venues, you will be notified on the front page of our wedding website. If we have your email address on file from your RSVP we will also send out an email advising everyone of the changes.
