Are children invited? ¿Están invitados los niños?

Answer

While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding will be primarily adults-only. The only exception is for guests traveling from out of town or out of state. For our local friends and family, we encourage you to take this as a well-deserved night off and arrange babysitting—consider it a mini date night! Aunque adoramos a sus pequeños, nuestra boda será principalmente un evento solo para adultos. La única excepción es para aquellos invitados que viajan desde fuera de la ciudad o del estado. A nuestros familiars y amigos locales, les animamos a tomarse esto como una merecida noche libre y a organizar el cuidado de los niños; ¡considérenlo una pequeña cita nocturna!

When should I RSVP by? ¿Cuándo debo confirmar mi asistencia?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than July 1st by clicking the RSVP tab (coming soon) in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend. You will be missed! if you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate so on the RSVP tab (coming soon) so we can plan accordingly. ¡Te extrañaremos! Can I bring a plus one or additional guests? ¿Puedo traer un acompañante o invitados adicionales?

Answer

If your wedding invitation is addressed to you "and guest," you are allowed a plus one. If you have a special circumstance and would like to request an additional guest, please reach out to us before July 1st. We would be happy to accommodate when possible. The wedding ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at The Palms, Chico, CA. The ceremony will be immediately followed by a cocktail hour and reception at the same location. What will the weather be like this time of year? ¿Cómo será el tiempo en esta época del año?

Answer

During this time of year, we anticipate warm, pleasant weather during the day with temperatures typically in the low to mid - 70s. As the sun sets, it does cool down into the 50s, so evenings can be a bit chilly. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors at the Palms, followed by an indoor reception. We recommend bringing a light jackets or shawl to stay comfortable during the outdoor portions of the evening. Overall, it's usually sunny, calm, and perfect for celebrating. En esta época del año, esperamos un clima cálido y agradable durante el día, con temperaturas que suelen oscilar entre los 70 y 75 grados Fahrenheit. Answer

The ceremony and cocktail will be held outdoors. Guests can expect to walk on a mix of grass, pavement, and some gravel in the parking area. We recommend flat-soled shoes or thicker heels to avoid sinking into the grass. As temperatures may cool in the evening, dressing in layers or bringing a light jacket or shawl is encouraged to ensure you're comfortable throughout the celebration. La ceremonia y el cóctel se celebrarán al aire libre. Los invitados caminarán sobre una combinación de césped, pavimento y algo de grava en la zona de aparcamiento. The ceremony will begin punctually at 3:30 PM. Please arrive no later than 3:10 pm to ensure enough time to be seated before the ceremony starts. La ceremonia comenzará puntualmente a las 3:30 PM. Free on-site parking is provided. There are reserved handicapped parking spaces available for those who need them, and staff will be present to direct guests to the ceremony site form the parking lot. Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests can head straight to the cocktail area, where we will be serving beverages, appetizers, and entertainment during cocktail hour. Yes! Dinner will be served at the reception. We'll be hosting a buffet style with a variety of options, including Samoan and Mexican food, so guests can mix and match their favorites. Yes—we’ll have an open bar! Please celebrate responsibly. Yes, you’re welcome to take photos! We just ask that you’re mindful and present. We’ve hired an amazing photographer and videographer, and we’d love for them to capture your smiles and reactions—not a sea of phones.
