We’re getting married!

Matt and Yesenia met at Wal-Mart in 2017. They instantly noticed each other and became friends. By the beginning of 2018, they started dating. At the start of their relationship, tragedy struck Yesenia's family. This hardship led to Yesenia raising her Nephew, Zaiden. Matt immediately stepped up to the plate without hesitation and willingly decided to help teach and care for Yesenia's nephew with her. At only 3 months into their relationship, they were already raising Zaiden, who is their whole world. This put their relationship in a fast track where they worked together as new parents. This also instantly strengthened their relationship, forming a strong, unbreakable foundation. They instantly knew if they could overcome raising a child together at such an early point of their relationship, they could take on anything that comes their way. With time Zaiden rightfully returned to his mother, though they still have a unique, unbreakable bond to this day with Zaiden that could never be broken. As time progressed, the two decided to leave Walmart to pursue new endeavors; Matt left to pursue a career in construction, while Yesenia chose to continue her education to pursue a career in Esthetics where she works today. Together they supported each other to achieve a future they both enjoy and love. Under the twinkling lights on Christmas Eve 2020, Matt eventually proposed at the London bridge. This location was especially special because it was the setting they had their first date and the start of their blossoming relationship. Though they have already endured so much in the short time that they have spent together, they look forward to all of the memories they will make in the present and future.
