We’re getting “magically” married!

James-Michael and Kayla originally met in high school but were only acquaintances, with some mutual friends. They were even both on the Academic Team! They weren't in the same grade, however, so after Kayla graduated, they went separate ways. In early May 2018, Kayla was getting a really cool mermaid tattoo at Blackgate Studios, and James-Michael stopped by because he is pals with the owner/artist, Joe Parrish. Kayla had no idea, but the two had actually planned his visit because James-Michael had noticed her on Joe's social media and thought she was pretty! Kayla and James-Michael hit it off right away and the next day, he reached out to ask how her tattoo was feeling. This sparked constant conversation for the next week, during which James-Michael asked Kayla what her favorite books were and went out to buy them so he could read them and discuss with her. This was the moment Kayla knew he was her person. A week after that, they decided to make this new, exciting thing official...and fell in love. :)
