The ceremony will begin with the traditional Sri Lankan wedding ceremony called the Poruwa Ceremony. The Poruwa ceremony is rooted in Sinhalese Buddist customs. Mr. Kithsiri Jayasekara will be officiating the Poruwa Ceremony. He will guide the couple through various traditions, symbolizing their formal union. Following the Poruwa ceremony, Mrs. Carol Marit will guide the couple through the legal proceedings and the exchanging of vows.

Cocktail hour will begin shortly after the ceremony. An open bar will be available and appetizers will be served. There will be some outdoor games for the guests to enjoy as well. The reception will begin at 6:00pm and dinner will be served promptly. Dinner will be served buffet style. Speeches and dance to follow after. Late lunch will be provided later in the evening. Bar will be closing at midnight.
