As all modern love stories begin, we met on Tinder. Our first date was to the FDR Presidential Library and we couldn't decide what was funnier: the fact that neither one of us realized it's a museum and not a library or that we were both fine with going to a library as a first date with a stranger.
I generally don't get nervous in high-stress situations, but I could not shrug off my nervousness. Though Emily and I had talked about wanting marry each other (and Emily sending me pictures of rings about twice monthly - not obvious I know), I was a wreck, at least on the inside, and I'm pretty sure my voice cracked... ouch.
