What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. Semi-formal attire strikes a balance between formal and casual. Options may include a suit paired with a dress shirt and tie, a dress, jumpsuit, or pantsuit. July in Denver will typically hit 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, and then go down to 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit at night. Golden's temperatures will be on the lower end of these averages.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

THE CHURCH: There is a large parking lot and street parking. UPDATE ON THE RECEPTION: There is a small parking lot in front of the building, which will have spots reserved for the wedding party, grandparents, and the band. There is also a parking lot next door that we can use (there will be a sign). The reception is in a more residential area on Lookout Mountain Road, so we are unsure of Uber/Lyft availability. Plan on driving or you can try scheduling a taxi/uber AHEAD of time.

Denver is nicknamed the "mile high city" since the elevation is 5280 feet above sea level, which means that it is also a mile closer to the sun. So make sure you are prepared with sunscreen, as well as lots of liquids to stay hydrated at the higher elevation!
