In the year of 1998, two babies were born in South Korea. They both immigrated to America around the age of 2. Both their parents decided to attend Yuong Sang Presbyterian Church. The two kids knew of each others' existence but never interacted until they were in their college years. In the summer of 2019, Yebin and Joseph served at their church's special needs ministry together and they may or may not have started developing feelings for each other. Once summer was over, Joseph went back to school in Harrisburg. After the COVID lockdown, Yebin left Yuong Sang and Joseph left Pennsylvania. Fast forward to December 2021, Yebin and her sister decided to visit Yuong Sang. When Joseph saw Yebin, he said, "what are you doing here? I thought you moved to Manayunk" and Yebin responded, "what are you doing here? I thought you moved to Virginia." That was their only interaction that day. In January 2022, Yebin and her sister visited Yuong Sang again for the New Years' service and this time, Yebin and Joseph engaged in more conversation. They started to see each other more often in group settings and Yebin wanted to make her feelings more obvious so she slid into his KakaoTalk. Not too long after, Joseph said, "we should go on a date sometime" and Yebin responded, "okay." On March, 13, 2022, Yebin and Joseph had their first date.
