Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 pm, and we recommend arriving at the Heinz History Center no later than 5 pm. Staff will be on-site to help you navigate to the library on the 6th floor. Better yet, you can arrive even earlier to tour the museum for free before the festivities begin!
We encourage black-tie, but your comfort is truly our top priority. (If you already have a tux in the closet, you can use us as an excuse to pull it out!) We're excited to spend an evening with you all looking our best!
Please let us know in your RSVP of any allergies, and we'll work with the caterer on your behalf.
While we love all of your little ones, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We hope you can enjoy this special evening with us!
If you do not see an option to RSVP for a plus one but have a significant other you would like to bring, please just reach out to us.
We will! If you haven't danced the horah before, you can read more about the tradition and the steps here: https://www.theknot.com/content/hora-dance
We've secured a block of rooms at a special rate at the Duquesne Club - you can book your lodging by calling them at 412-391-1500 and sharing you are part of the Yealy-Rosenbloom block. They'll work with each of you to select the room that best meets your preferences and budget.
The Duquesne Club offers valet services for about $35/day - please keep in mind that there is no in & out service during the weekend. There is also a parking garage connected to the Duquesne Club called Smithfield-Liberty (rates will be about $24 for 24 hours), which is our top recommendation! Other recommended garages nearby include the Mellon Square Garage and the garage under the K&L Gates Building. The Heinz History Center is surrounded by several outdoor parking lots whose rates range from $5-$12. The venue is a 5-minute drive from the Duquesne Club; we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft.
We will send out invitations and open the RSVP portal as soon as we've aligned on the final details with our caterer. We're just as eager as you to get this party started!
Great question! Kristen is originally from Pittsburgh where her family still lives today. And Scott has an affinity for the Steel City because it's the starting point for one of his favorite bicycle routes - the GAP trail - which runs from Pittsburgh to DC. Oh, and the cookie table tradition...
