Jessie and I officially met at Tyler and Mariah’s wedding rehearsal. As Tyler’s best man, I was concerned that on this warm day he would become dehydrated. Due to this, I decided to fill up a cooler with Colorado Kool-Aid, otherwise known as Coors Light. Upon my arrival at the rehearsal Jessie approached me at my truck and told me that alcohol was not allowed. I explained to her that Tyler and I would be drinking during this, and she could join us if she was not scared. I handed her a beer and she apprehensively accepted. I instantly thought Jessie was beautiful but what I really enjoyed about her is that she laughed at all of my dumb jokes during the rehearsal. We discussed our plans for the rest of the evening which was Jessie working on wedding stuff and me taking Tyler out with his family for his last night before marriage. Little did I know then that practicing walking up and down the aisle would come in handy a little more than 3 years later at our own wedding. Jessie and I did not see each other for the next few months but reconnected in February of 2022. Tyler had asked me to go with him to Livermore to hangout while he drove around several girls for Cheyanne’s bachelorette party. Once we picked them up Mariah asked to drive with me by herself. During this car ride she mentioned that Jessie was single and Mariah thought we would be great together. I told her I was very interested in Jessie and asked more about her. A few weeks later I had just moved into my house. Tyler and Mariah wanted to go out and celebrate with me. They invited Jessie. This night turned into the four of us line dancing in my empty living room. Jessie and I also shared a slow dance to our future favorite song, Tennessee Whiskey. That night I was able to see a glimpse of how we could be together and I knew I could never let her go.
Jimmy and I met at Mariah & Tyler's Wedding Rehearsal. As I drove to the venue Mariah informed me that someone had brought alcohol to the venue (which was not allowed). After parking my car I went to confront the individual who supplied the contraband, and politely ask them to put it away. I walked up to Jimmy, and long story short, I ended up having a drink. Jimmy and I had been given two of the biggest roles you can have in someone's big day. Jimmy was Tyler’s Best Man, and I was Mariah’s Maid of Honor. Little did we know, being given these roles would change our lives forever. Six months would pass before we saw each other again. I was single and in no way ready to mingle. Jimmy had other plans. I received a text from Mariah asking me to grab a drink with her. I had assumed this would be just us, unbeknownst to me it would be an entire group. Including Jimmy. (this was schemed together by them). During our night out, I had a whopping two drinks & could not drive, at this point it was only Mairah,Tyler, Jimmy and Myself. I informed the group that I was going to text my dad to pick me up. Jimmy responded 'Absolutely not', and insisted he drive my car back to my parents. After dropping off my car, he asked if I wanted to go with them to see his new house. Mariah & Tyler had trailed us back to my parents and insisted I go with them. Being the polite gal that I am, I agreed. We ended up staying up all night, we laughed and played games. Little did I know that a moment in an empty room dancing to Tennessee Whiskey would be the start to our love story.
