Told in two perspectives. Brian: Our story began in 2014, when I returned from a trip to Ireland. I was invited to a party by a friend. Since I was partied out from Ireland, I didn't want to go at first. But I changed my mind. Glad I did, because one girl caught my eye. As the party went on, I impressed Kirsten with my awesome margarita making skills. I talked to her most of the night, showing her pictures from my trip. People said I was flirting with her, but we were really connecting over travelling. Kirsten: Brian definitely didn't impress me with his 'awesome' margarita making skills. I'm pretty sure most of the tequila ended up on the floor. Good thing he brought beer. But I was attracted to his genuine kindness, red beard, and the fact that he loved to travel. We sat by the fire pit and looked through all the photos of his Ireland adventure. After awhile, it felt like we were the only people around. Brian: After the party, I asked Kirsten out. I went to Supercuts to get ready for our first date and was stupid enough to have them trim my beard. I never made that mistake again. Kirsten: Brian showed up to our first date without his beard. I hardly recognized him at first. Thankfully, he grew it back. Brian and Kirsten: Five years later, here we are. Countless miles travelled together. We're about to be married, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
