We met the old fashioned way, online. After some casual conversation neither of us thought anything of it. Not until one day at Happy Hollow Pizzeria, the restaurant Courtney worked at, our lives crossed paths in real life. Jeff’s friend thought she was cute, Courtney thought he was cute. Later that evening, Jeff messaged Courtney on Facebook asking if that was really her he had seen. Jeff came into the restaurant the next day and before he could make the move Courtney beat him to it. She asked him out to their first date at Dave & Busters and the the rest is history.

Over the 4 years Jeff and Courtney dated they experienced many things together. From hiking in the mountains to camping at the beaches, concerts out and nights in their first home. The two grew very close to each other’s families made the start of an incredible life together. We can’t wait to share our love with you and celebrate!

Jeff set the plan into motion to pop the question in October 2018. He rented a cabin at Silver Falls State Park for Courtney's birthday present and set off ring shopping. Jeff asked her best friend/older sister Colleen to help execute the perfect proposal. He had the ring, the location and the accomplice, now he just needed the waterfall and the girl. Jeff knew what the Upper North Falls waterfall looked like, he just didn't know when we would get to it on the Trail of 10 Falls. Waterfall after waterfall, picture after picture of course it was the very last one. Hands shaking and voice in his throat, he got down on one knee and asked the most important question of their lives.
