Andriy met Josie in the steamy sauna of the University of Toledos rec center. As their friendship grew, Andriy pursued a date with Josie. They dated through their last year of college & graduation, even sharing a class together. While their jobs moved them away from each other for a year, they never missed a weekend to see each other. Luckily enough before covid turned the world upside down, Josie traveled back to Michigan to be with Andriy.

After a date night at their local brewery, they arrived home. Josie turned around fully surprised to see Andriy down on one knee proposing. She started crying and laughing a "yes"in the same breath. They are very excited to celebrate their union with friends and family as they begin their marriage.
