Crested Butte is approximately a 4 hour drive from DIA. If you're coming from sea level, we do recommend a night or two in Denver prior to the drive acclimate to the altitude. Coming early? Please reach out and we'd be happy to recommend affordable lodging options in the Denver area!

Gunnison Airport

Gunnison, CO is located approximately 35 minutes outside of Crested Butte and offers flights daily through United Airlines. Local transportation options are available from the airport to Crested Butte.
