If you're coming from the Boston or DC area we recommend taking Amtrak into Manhattan. You can either take a $30 cab ride or the MTA subway to Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

John F. Kennedy International Airport
If you plan on flying into New York we recommend JFK. There are two ways to get from the airport to the wedding venue and the surrounding area of Fort Greene Brooklyn: * Hop in an Cab (or) Uber/Lyft. For a yellow cab, after retrieving your luggage there are signs for taxi stands at each terminal. If you plan on calling an Uber / Lyft you can have them pull right up to the car pick up location located directly next to the taxi lines. Usually the cab driver offers which route to take, the quickest way to get to the Fort Greene area is to take the Van Wyck Expressway to Atlantic Avenue which takes you all the way there. * Luckily JFK has the Airtrain which goes directly from the terminals to either Jamaica Queens LIRR station where you can take the commuter rail directly to Atlantic Terminal or to the Howard Beach subway station via the A train that goes express all the way to Hoyt - Schermerhorn station in the heart of downtown Brooklyn.
