We would love for you to stay at the resort so you can join us for all wedding related activities as well as spend time with everyone for extra things like brunch, pool time, etc. The resort is a "closed" site. Those who stay elsewhere will only have access to the resort 30 minutes before the wedding. For all non wedding days, the resort does not provide day passes.
Wedding attire is formal. Since the wedding is in April, we'd love to see you in your favorite spring colors (pastels) and florals! Avoid wearing black. Ladies: Full length dresses or jumpsuits. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. Ceremony is on grass and the reception is on a stone ground so we recommend avoiding stiletto heels. Cabo does tend to get breezy at night but a light jacket or shawl is enough. Guys: Suit jacket, slacks, and dress shoes. Tie is optional. Light colored suits and breathable fabrics like linen are encouraged. Avoid wearing black.
Wedding activities start on Thursday night with a welcome party and we hope you can stay with us through the weekend to enjoy some time at the pool or beach together. Please note, a minimum of three nights is needed in order to use our group code. If you'd like to come in earlier or stay longer to enjoy Cabo, please do! Our group rate will be honored several days before and after our wedding as long as there is availability.
You can reserve your stay at the resort through our booking link. You can find the link and information under the Travel tab above.
We understand that traveling is more fun with company and some of you may choose to turn this into a vacation post or pre wedding or you may want a travel buddy to help split costs. If you'd like to bring someone to the wedding, we just ask that you let us know beforehand by including them in your RSVP.
We know that traveling to Cabo is a bit of a trek for many of you so we will leave it up to you and wether you prefer a child free getaway or a family vacation. Both the resort and the wedding couple welcome your little ones. Please include them in your RSVP so we can plan for proper seating and food counts.
No need! The airport is about a 45 minute drive to the resort. We are working on setting up group transportation for flights arriving at similar times so stay tuned. There are also hotel shuttles that will take you to other Pueblo Bonito sister properties. If you want to leave the resort and head into town, there are also safe taxis standing by. Just ask when you walk into the lobby.
Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is a massive property. It's walkable but it's also hilly so we recommend hopping on one of the many golf carts that are driving around 24/7. Throughout the day, they are constantly driving around and will stop by if they see you waiting and ask where you need to go. If you're in a hurry or it's a busy time (like dinner or brunch times) you can call ahead for one from your room or from phones that are scattered all over the property and they will be there in a few minutes. They will pick you up wherever you need and drop you off anywhere in the resort. No walking necessary.
