Formal invitations will be sent in early 2027 and will include all the relevant details for the weekend’s celebrations.

Answer

Our wedding will be an elegant black tie formal celebration. Ladies are invited to wear sophisticated long evening gowns, with beautiful seasonal tones and vibrant summer colours warmly encouraged. For gentlemen we respectfully request formal black-tie attire. A traditional tuxedo is preferred; however, a highly formal black suit is also appropriate. We very much look forward to seeing everyone dressed beautifully as we celebrate together. As a gentle request, we kindly ask that ladies refrain from wearing champagne coloured dresses so the bridal party may stand out.

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could receive. Answer

We’ll be arranging coaches to make travel easy for everyone because let’s be honest, no one wants to be driving all that way home hungover! The cost is £25 per person for a return journey. There will be one collection from Peacehaven and one from Brighton Station. Payment must be made no later than 3 months before the wedding to secure your seat. To ensure we are able to accommodate all of our cherished guests comfortably, only those explicitly named on your save the date and formal invitation are included. We truly appreciate your understanding.

We kindly request that children attend only if they are specifically listed on your save the date or invitation. Our celebration will largely be an adults-only occasion, with a small number of immediate family children present.

We warmly recommend that guests stay at the wedding venue to fully immerse themselves in the celebrations. With over 200 rooms available and complimentary on-site parking, the venue offers both comfort and convenience throughout the weekend.

Please confirm your attendance via the RSVP page on this website following receipt of your formal invitation. The RSVP deadline will be outlined within your invitation, and we would be so grateful for responses by the specified date to allow us to finalise our plans.

We will be offering a choice of three starters, three mains, and three desserts for the wedding breakfast. Guests will be asked to confirm their selections at the time of RSVP. We kindly request that your menu choices are submitted alongside your response so we may finalise arrangements accordingly.

Answer

As our venue is located slightly further out, we kindly encourage guests to stay the evening before the wedding so the day itself feels relaxed and unhurried. Many of our guests will be joining us the night prior, and we very much look forward to beginning the celebrations together. The hotel reception is just a 30-second walk from the Orangery, allowing for an effortless arrival at the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. We kindly request that you arrive by 1:40 PM to allow ample time to be seated comfortably.

Answer

Yes, complimentary parking is available on-site. Multiple car parks within the venue grounds will comfortably accommodate all guests.

A selection of drinks will be provided throughout the day, including welcome drinks, wine with dinner, and a celebratory toast. A cocktail cart and beer cart will also be available during the celebrations. As the evening continues, four bars will be open for guests wishing to purchase additional drinks, including one located within the Orangery exclusively for our wedding guests.

We are pleased to accommodate most food allergies and dietary requirements. Kindly include full details when submitting your meal selection so the catering team may ensure your dining experience is both safe and enjoyable.

Answer

As many guests will be staying the evening prior, this will be a lovely opportunity to relax, explore the venue, and become acquainted ahead of the wedding day. Guests are welcome to dine and enjoy drinks within the venue’s restaurants and bars, including the 1853 Restaurant, the Library Bar, and the Atrium Bar. The wedding party will be enjoying a private dining experience earlier in the evening and look forward to joining guests in one of the bars later on. Please note that the venue operates a smart casual dress code for its restaurants and bars. Guests are kindly requested to avoid sportswear, ripped jeans, and baseball caps. It is a wonderful opportunity to mingle, unwind, and begin the celebrations together.

We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photographs or videos during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer, videographer, and content creator capturing every moment, and we would love for everyone to be fully present as we exchange our vows. All imagery will be shared with guests following the wedding.

We would be delighted for you to share the joy of the day once the ceremony has concluded. We kindly request that no photographs or videos are shared during the ceremony itself.

The ceremony will commence promptly at 2:00 PM. Should you arrive after proceedings have begun, venue staff may need to seat you at an appropriate pause to minimise disruption. We kindly request that all guests arrive by 1:40 PM.

The ceremony will take place in the Orangery, which is fully air-conditioned for comfort during the summer months. The drinks reception and evening celebrations will be held across various areas of the venue. As our wedding is in July, we anticipate pleasant summer weather, with ample outdoor seating overlooking the grounds, located beside the Library Bar and just a short walk from the Orangery.
