Going back to the place where it all began

When we met, it seems that everyone knew we would be together but us. For four years, we danced around our feelings for each other. We went through so many changes, made amazing friends, and hung out almost everyday. Through every trial and tribulation, we remained best friends. I had resigned myself to the idea that all we were ever going to be were best friends, until one fateful night in July of 2021 when Tre told me he loved me and our lives changed forever. We still have that amazing friendship at the base of our relationship, but have built true love upon it. We are so excited to come together, under God, and with all of our friends and family by our sides. I would never have predicted my life to go in this direction, but as we all know, God draws straight with crooked lines. Thank you so much to our family and friends who supported us and have seen us go from friends to fiancés to now approaching husband and wife. I cannot express the amount of gratitude that Tre and I feel. We know how lucky we are to have found each other and to have such an amazing support group around us. See you all soon! Cuando nos conocimos, parece que todos sabían que estaríamos juntos menos nosotros. Durante cuatro años, bailamos alrededor de nuestros sentimientos el uno por el otro. Pasamos por tantos cambios, hicimos amigos increíbles y pasamos tiempo juntos casi todos los días. A través de cada prueba y tribulación, seguimos siendo los mejores amigos. Me había resignado a la idea de que todo lo que íbamos a ser serían mejores amigos, hasta que una noche fatídica en Julio del 2021 cuando Tre me dijo que me amaba, y desde entonces, nuestras vidas cambiaron para siempre. Todavía tenemos esa increíble amistad en la base de nuestra relación, pero hemos construido un verdadero amor sobre ella. Estamos muy emocionados de unirnos, bajo Dios, y con todos nuestros amigos y familiares a nuestro lado. Nunca hubiera predicho que mi vida iría en esta dirección, pero como todos sabemos, Dios dibuja recto con líneas torcidas. Muchas gracias a nuestra familia y amigos que nos apoyaron y nos han visto pasar de amigos a novios y ahora acercándonos a marido y mujer. No puedo expresar la cantidad de gratitud que Tre y yo sentimos.
