Wedding Party

Nazanin Hooman

Best Woman

Being my eldest sister, she’s always been the wisest referee in my corner. We spent half our lives in opposite hemispheres and can still read each other’s minds. She’s the reason my nephews speak three languages and it’s only mildly unsettling when they put it to good use. She’s brilliant. They’re all brilliant.

Ladan Pratt

Best Woman

My middle sister is tied for Best Woman because she’s the yang to my other sister’s yin. Where my eldest is the coursing river, Ladan is all the force of a great typhoon…in the best way! We always know how to make each other laugh and be infuriated at the same time. Grateful to have her as my big sis.

Samantha Herndon

Maid of Honor

She can keep switching coasts all she wants but looks like she’s stuck with me. If I have to renew my vows every six months to drag her back here from Seattle, I will! Jokes aside- Samantha is one of the most genuine, kind hearted, loyal friends (she stayed friends with me when I got bangs) a girl could ever ask for…she’s always been there with a book or token of wisdom when I needed it most. <3

Lilly Sayre

Maid of Honor

Also tied for maid of honor: a long-distance friendship champion and keeper of way too many stories that should never be told tonight. No dad joke or Emperor’s New Groove pun gets past the two of us. Our chats make me feel like we’re kids still, and I love that for us.

Lee Harris

Best Man

There the day T.J. was born and came home from the hospital… might as well be brothers. They've been through it all together: from an accidental head wound while killing gnats with a baseball bat, to “mating" socks, "running out of gas together" in high school, and even Lee's brief stint in rugby.

Joe Davis

Best Man

T.J. is on the left, Joe is on the right. Now that that’s out of the way….They’ve been lifelong friends since they used to ride bikes together on their old, country back road and have created countless memories since then. From the PS1 Resident Evil jump scares, "salt chugging" from a pretzel bag, singing ICP on the school bus, the "Neo-Butcher" in Halo 2, and even nights at the Electric Cowboy. Nowadays, Joe likes to throw any meat he can into his smoker, and T.J. likes to chastise him about the health of his arteries. Time flies.

Brandon McKinney

Groomsman

The oldest "little" brother but still manages to be the quietest. Bonded through a shared love of video games, which continues to this day. Just don't ask the Miami Beach bartenders about his "pre-21st" birthday celebration!

Cody McKinney

Groomsman

The middle "little" brother, but he always manages to stand out. He even joined T. J. during his "punk rock" phase. Beware if you take him to a self-serve, frozen yogurt shop!

Kyle McKinney

Groomsman

The youngest little brother. He joined along with all the general mayhem, from impromptu "wrestling matches”, to GoldenEye and wrestling on the N64, and was the first brother to make T.J. an uncle but T.J. still won't forget when he destroyed all his progress in Final Fantasy VII before he could save!
