Festive Indian | Semi-Formal Evening
The Garba is going to be a night filled with energetic and playful dancing that commonly takes place before weddings. Garba is a typical Gujarati folk dance that everyone can participate in with easy to learn, short, repetitive steps. To observe tradition, guests will be asked to remove their shoes upon entering the venue. We recommend wearing clothes that are comfortable to move around in.

NOTE: This event is traditionally outdoors. If we receive afternoon showers, we will move this party inside! The Groom’s procession (Baraat) takes place just before the ceremony and will begin near the front entrance of the venue. The groom will make a grand entrance that you won't be able to miss! It is followed by a Milni, or a special ceremony in which the bride's family welcomes the groom and his family. The bride's guests are welcome to take part in this celebration, but we understand if you prefer to join us at the ceremony and avoid the heat!

Literally "tying the knot," the ceremony has several different mini traditions that you can read about: https://www.theknot.com/content/hindu-wedding-traditions. Photos with family and friends to follow after the ceremony concludes.
5:30 pm
Guests will be asked to leave the venue to allow for a short break before the reception. During this time, you are welcome to go back and change into your reception outfits. Don't plan to change? No problem! Stop by one of our favorite spots, Wolf Branch Brewing, nearby for a drink!
